i am going on a cruise and one of the ports is in roatan island. my friend told me that we wouldn’t stop there because the people were revolting against the government. is there really a revolt and what are the chances we don’t get to go there? what the hell man i never asked about my team. if i wanted to know about hockey i would have asked something in the hockey section. fu*k you.
what is up with the government of the honduras?
My husband and I are debating about which cruise to go on. Our two choices are
1. Port of Calls Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; Isla Roatan, Honduras; Belize; Cozumel, Mexico (2 days of fun at sea)
2. Port of Calls Half Moon Cay, Bahamas; St. Thomas, USVI; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Grand Turk (2 days of fun at sea)
Any help and opinions are greatly appreciated.

I would like to know if it is possible to cross the land border safely to Copan from Guatemala by bus. I am aware of the political situation there, and found out yesterday that Honduras is closing the border. First time going on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise, can someone help me with getting the best excursion deals that has been on similar cruises?
My basic question isis it a better deal to go with the prepaid excursions such as beginning scuba in Grand Cayman for myself and my daughter is $200. Can you get a better local deal from copy-cat businesses? Any great excursions you would recomend?

Someone posted this route and I wanted to see if someone who has been to Central America thought this was a good idea or could add some additional suggestions.” A great route is arrive San Pedro Sula (honduras) visit Roatan Island (paradise off the coast) back to the mainland travel by bus to Copan Mayan Ruins, then to Guatemala Antigua right outside of Guatemala City is a popular and enjoyable stop. You can either fly back from Guatemala City or retrace your steps.

I have 2 weeks vacation during the month of December. The plane ticket right now is priced at around $650 to fly into Guatemala City. Also, will my dollar go a long way in these countries? What about Belize or El Salvador as well. Would I have enough time? If not, which country would be a better pick. Are both coutries safe?

My new bride and I are taking our first time cruise for our honeymoon on the Carnival Legend. It goes out from Tampa and goes to the Cayman islands, Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. Any suggestions on what to bring for the cruise, what to expect, and how much money/what currency I should bring?
