What names can you think of for a dog that looks like this?

As some of you guys know My heart has been greatly touch by the True Story Of “Hachiko”The Dog That would Faithfully and loyally wait for his owner in Japan At A Train Station and even after his masters death he still waited 9 more years Until his own death at the station. Sometimes I tend to play the Piano during my spare Time. Right now I am trying to look for the Piano Music SheetCalled ( “Goodbye Theme From Hachiko A Dog s Story By Jan A P Kaczmarek ) As its called. If I’m not mistaken I believe It is mostly know as the Opening Music theme that you would hear when ever you putthe DVD Disk in and the main menu of the Movie”Hachi A Dogs Tale” appears and then the theme of movie starts playing. 1.) Where Can I Find This Piano / Music Sheet 2.) Whould I be able to get a copy of this Music Sheet or is it Prohibited? 3.) Does “Best Buy” sell any Soundtrack CD’s That are Based On the movie “Hachi A Dogs Tale” ? Thank You So Much Every One! )

Where I can Find the Piano Sheet “Goodbye Theme” From Hachiko A Dogs Story By Jan A P Kaczmarek?

I’ve done some research and a lot of people have said that Dr. Ian Dunbar’s programs are very good. Videos SIRIUS Puppy Training Redux Training the Companion Dog (4-DVD set) Dog Training for Children Training Dogs with Dunbar Which one should I buy? Would I really need all that? I’m planning to buy a puppy, but I have no experience with dogs at all D I really want to be a good trainer and master of my future puppy. Also, which of his books would you recommend? If you think there are better videos and books written by other people, can you please recommend them to me? Btw, money is not an issue. I am the issue | )) Thanks a lot to those who helped!

What good dog training videos and books would you recommend?

I want a dog training program that’s set up like the Don Sullivan one. I just don’t agree with his way of obedience. It needs to be a DVD program though. Thanks! I can’t go to a trainer. It’s to expensive and I need something that can work around my busy, changing scheduel

how do I stop my dog from barking!?

For Anyone who Greatly Adores Animals There is a new heart warming movie that the Company Of”Sony” has just released out on DVDand is really selling like crazy at the “Best Buy” storewhich is actually based on A True Story that really happened in Japancalled”Hachi A Dog’sTale”The movie stars actor Richard Gere who plays A College Professor who takes the train to work and home every single day and who forms a strong bond with an abandoned Akita Dog who always waits for him patiently at the exact same time every day at the Train Station. Until the Professor dies one day at work and never comes back. And Trust me There’s more to this story on the “Wikipedia” WebsiteJust Type in “Hachi”and it will tell you the whole story and even show you a real picture of the dog However this movie has really touchedmy heart and has reminded me about my Husky Mix that I used to have a strong bond with before she passed away. Any Way I guess my Questions are 1.) What would you do if you found an abandon dog at the Train Station that you always took to work or school every day and you started to form a very strong and unbreakable bond? 2.) How would you react if you noticed that the dog always showed up at the exact same time every single day that you arrived at the Train Station and always waited greet you? 3.) How would you react if you saw a Dog Form a Strong bond with someone and always waited at the exact same time for that exact same person to Go and Come back from work at the same train station? 4.) How would you comfort the dog if the person who the dog was waiting for had died one day or for any other reason would never be able to show up at the train station? 5.) Why is it so difficult for some people to have a lot of love and understandingfor animals and make them fight for money and yet abuse them? Even though that animals give us humans unconditional love and forgiveness. 6.)How would you react if you had a College professor who bonded with a stray dog at A Train Station? 7.) If You Could then would you Make a Holiday in Memory of “The College Professor” or “Hachi The Dog” ? 8.) If You Could meet the Real Professor or the Real dog the would you? 9.) Who would you rather meet the Real “Hachi the Dog” or the “Real Professor” ? Basically in my opinion teachers should talk about this story in schools all over the world so that it can teach everyone that the Values of Loyalty, Trust, Friendship, Understanding and Love are very important in life and it is what really makes us stronger Please tell me what you think. And No BadComments Please. Thanks Everyone! )

What Do you think about the New Movie that has Just come on DVD Named “Hachi ; A Dogs Tale”?

My dog is a puller it is very hard to walk her without her dragging us. A regular collar was not working–she would basically choke herself as she dragged us to get to whatever she wanted to get to. My cousin recommended the gentle leader because her dog pulls her as well. Well we tried it and the thing is when my husband walks the dog she will roll all over the grass trying to get the thing off. In his words totally flipping out. She has cut her nose a few times in the process. But when I walk her its totally different. She will shake her head a little bit, but I say come on girl and she walks with me just fine. She doesn’t pull and we are able to walk nicely without being dragged all over the place. I don’t understand why she acts totally different around me and around my husband. Before using gentle leader she would pull regardless of who was walking her. From reading the materials and watching the DVD it comes with I know that some dogs will resist the collar and take a little bit to get used to. But its just strange to me that she pretty much flips out when my husband has her. He always asks me does the dog roll all over the ground when I have her and the answer is always no. She shakes her head in the beg. but my cousins dog does that as well. Im sure the little strap over the nose feels funky for the dog. I know my dog probably thinks she is in charge that is why she was pulling to begin with. But why the difference between me and my husband. What is strange is my husband is the one who really exercises her. He jogs with her for about 4-5miles a day. He walks her more than I do. I probably take her out once a day He does it the other 3 times plus the jogging. I would assume since he spends more time with her that she would be used to him more. We want to get her training because we want her to be able to walk without that collar but we don’t think we can do it right away. Maybe in a few months or so, not really sure. We have had her a long time and the pulling has just gotten worse. Any advice on what my husband can do?? I dont know why my dog doesnt like him to use the gentle leader or doesnt tolerate as well as when I walk her. We are so confused. Thanks for any help.

My husband cannot walk our dog with gentle leader but I can?

My female best friend always has me over for movie nights we’re both 27 and have a lot in common. She recently got a Terrier dog and its just a nuisance. It’s about 2 years old and jumps up and down a lot, barks uncontrollably, and chews on everything (even one of my nice handbags was ruined!).Whenever I visit, the dog won’t stop jumping on me, and won’t stop barking. This doesn’t just last for a few minutes when I first arrive. It lasts my entire visit. My friend we’ll call her Susan does nothing about this. We’ll be sitting on the couch trying to have a conversation, and she will always be interrupted by the Terrier. So when I’m trying to tell her about some new gossip, she’ll say “Oh yeah? Hold on Draven, stop it! Draven sit! Sit Draven!” It’s just so fucking annoying. This last weekend I bought a bottle for us to drink while we watched movies for Oscar season. When I arrived, sure enough Draven was barking at me. I have very high nerves. Susan refuses I guess to put the dog up in a room which still boggles me. We sat down on the couch and put a DVD in and began watching. Draven started barking and pouncing. “Draven, stop doing that to Carolyn! Draven down.” But the dog wouldn’t. It would stop maybe a few minutes and then repeat. Needless to say the evening was ruined and I lost my buzz. I told Susan I was going to go to bed early. She seemed confused but then said “Okay.” That night I suffocated Draven to death. I know this seems abrupt but I couldn’t stand it. I did it while Susan slept, and basically strangled him to death until I heard his neck break. Draven was never going to change, never going to stop barking and jumping up and down. Never going to stop chewing on things. He was already 2 years old. He should have been better trained. AND he constantly interrupted my time with Susan. Who wants to hang out with a friend when their dog is always interrupting? It’s like Susan had a 2 year-old baby. The next morning I heard Susan screaming and sobbing. I told her what I had done, and she reacted quite violently slapping me a few times and then telling me I needed to leave. That I was a murderer. I tried to explain that the dog was a nuisance and would never stop being so bad in its behavior, but she was not listening. Now I face a court date. Was I wrong to do this? Obviously death is never the answer, but honestly! Read my explanation again Draven was a fucking menace to our lives. And Susan should get in trouble for bad training skills! What dog owner doesn’t know how to control their own dog, especially an Terrier!

Did I ruin my best friend’s life?

My son is 28 months old. Lately he has been getting up in the middle of the night. He rarely seems to have had a bad dream, and only occasionally it’s because he’s wet the bed. (He’s pretty much toilet trained. Just the occasional accident.) I honestly don’t think it’s sleepwalking, not that I know much about sleepwalking, but I’ll give you a few examples of what he gets up to. One night, I’d forgotten to attach the fridge/freezer lock before going to bed. I woke up to him squealing that he was stuck, because he’d gotten the ice-cream out of the freezer, got the portable dvd player, put them both in the port a cot I have set up in the theatre room, which is directly outside our bedroom door, and got stuck whilst trying to get into the port a cot to eat ice cream and watch a dvd at 4:30 in the morning! Sometimes he will find my handbag, it doesn’t matter how high it is, he’ll climb or get chairs, and empty it on the floor. He doesn’t do anything with any of it, but it’s annoying! He will go into his sisters room sometimes and get in her cot. She’s 9 months old and a very light sleeper at the best of times, let alone when he’s in there kicking his feet around. Last night, he got my fit ball and threw it on our bed, wanting to play. I’ll save the best for last About a month or so ago, my neighbour from 2 doors down came into my room and asked me if I was ok. I told her I was, wondering why the hell she’s in my room and how did she get in?! She then said to me “Because Jack and Angus (our dog) were just down at my place” I was gobsmacked!! I eventually found out that Jack had figured out how to unlock the side sliding door and open it. It was just bad luck that my husband hadn’t properly pushed the button on the remote to close the garage door after he left for work that morning. That was a very shaky day. There’s soooo much more I could put down here, but I’m too tired to think of it all and it’s all just more of the same naughtiness. Except for the other night. Again, I forgot to lock the fridge, he got up at 3am and ate my cheesecake 1/4! He shared it with the dog, but he’d also gotten a pack of frozen chips, opened them with his teeth and scattered them on the floor. I’m assuming it was to try to deter our dog from eating the cheesecake. I didn’t even get a slice! ( Alot of the time he seems to be going for food. He’s not hungry. He eats really well and very balanced. I just don’t understand why he does this probably 4 out of 7 nights for the last few weeks. It seems to be getting worse because he used to listen to us when we put him back to bed. Now he just keeps getting up. We all need our sleep. Especially my poor husband. The last thing we need is for him to have a work accident because he’s tired. Please, if anybody has any idea of what they think it could be, or could be caused by, I really need some help with this one! He goes to bed at around 8:30 every night. He’s usually awake around, but no later than 7:30, and has a 2 hour sleep in the middle of the day. He needs that snooze, or is a right little whinger for the rest of the afternoon and evening. He is disciplined fairly. We don’t go too hard on him, he’s just a kid, but we’re not too easy on him because he still has to learn what’s right and wrong. I’m just at my wits end this morning and really need help because we’re so tired and it’s starting to affect the rest of us. Thankyou! I forgot to put down that we have since locked all the doors with keys and even I have trouble reaching them!
